Social Media & Marketing Specialist (Remote Position)

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to our clients’ social media projects, as well as managing our company’s marketing initiatives. This is a work-from-home position, but occasional office visits may be required.

Responsibilities:

For Clients:

• Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs, both local and international
• Create engaging content plans and collaborate with the graphic design team to produce eye-catching and on-brand visuals
• Set up, manage, and optimize Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ad and other social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy
• Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and other partners to support clients’ marketing efforts
• Coordinate and manage social media promotions and contests to engage audiences and increase clients’ brand awareness
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and management of their social media projects

For Our Company:

• Manage our company’s social media presence, ensuring consistency and growth
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
• Collaborate with the sales team to align social media strategies with overall business goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting across all platforms
• Conduct regular social listening and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Assist in the planning and execution of online events, webinars, and live streams to engage the audience and promote the brand
• Stay informed about changes in social media algorithms and platform features, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Provide regular reports and insights on social media performance to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
• Handle all customer inquiries related to our social media and marketing services

Requirements:

• Age below 28 years old
• Male and female candidates are both preferred
• Proven experience in social media management and marketing
• Relevant educational qualifications in social media, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent creative writing, verbal, and written communication skills in English
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO is an added advantage
• Google or Meta certifications related to marketing will be an added advantage
• Candidates from Gampaha and Colombo districts preferred
